Policy Team

The Policy Team coordinates the development, revision, and publication of division bulletins and forms; processes requests for hearing and appeals in medical and vocational disputes; drafts orders for administrator and director signature; coordinates division communication with the Department of Justice regarding issues needing legal advice or representation; provides legal research; holds focus group meetings; coordinates the division's administrative rulemaking process, from development of issues through publication of finalized rules; coordinates the division's legislative activity; coordinates the development and implementation of consistent public policy through facilitation, research, and analysis; monitors the electronic reporting of data to the division; and coordinates division-wide projects.
